Sunbridge has an excellent reputation and holds a high level of satisfaction for their accessibility to residents with different care needs in the home: “We found daily menus and activity planners to be accessible to people in a pictorial format. We observed staff communicate with people in a kind and patient manner, at people’s face level and appropriate if people had a hearing impairment.” Recent CQC report where we were rated GOOD. Sunbridge Care Home in Edmonton offers a vibrant and engaging activities schedule designed to delight all residents in and outside of the home. From regular outings to popular spots like Henry Barrass Recreation Ground, Bury Lodge Wetlands, and Jubilee Park, our residents enjoy adventures in our community. There are many nearby pubs, cafes, and restaurants to be enjoyed by the people in our homes and there loved ones. We care for those with dementia, including complex conditions such as: Lewi body, Parkinson’s, Dementia, Korsakoff Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Frontal lobe Dementia

We can support individuals with hearing loss, mild, moderate or profound

We support individuals with vision loss at this home

We support individuals with speech impairments or difficulties at this home

We support individuals to maximise their independence and support with rebuilding confidence

We support individuals with lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties at this home

We support individuals living with these conditions to maintain their comfort levels in a respectful manner

We people living with diabetes to lead a healthy balanced lifestyle in line with their medication needs. Residents who require insulin who live in our residential homes will have access to a district nurse to support with this

We aid our teams with training to support individuals living with epilepsy

We support individuals with a variety of conditions from arthritis to post fall recovery including pain management

We support individuals with swallowing difficulties and dysphagia by providing textured modified diets to continue to eat the foods they enjoy, safely
