I joined as a part time Care Assistant, which was great as the hours worked around my university schedule. Upon finishing my degree, I took on a full time position and became a Senior Care Assistant.

I enjoyed the care positions and I knew I wanted to purse a career in care, but I wasn’t 100% sure I was in the right role. This led me to becoming an Activities Coordinator and I loved this position! It allowed me to not only continue to care for my residents but also enabled all aspects of personality to come through.

After some time working as an Activities Coordinator, I took the biggest step in my career – becoming a  Regional Activity Support Manager, supporting 80- 150 homes at any one time over the last four years.

The personal and professional growth this path has led me on so far has allowed me to make a difference on an even wider scale. I have now been given the opportunity to take a senior role within the Regional Activity Support Team, a new challenge I am eagerly beginning to sink my teeth into.

From day one, the Group has presented so many opportunities for progression and growth and I have felt absolutely encouraged to just ‘go for it’ throughout my time here!
