Fee Administrator

We are recruiting a Fee Administrator.  As a Fee Administrator you will be responsible for controlling all the aspects of invoicing care home fees, cash posting, cash allocation and credit control.  As one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK it’s important to us to couple great care with meaningful and enjoyable experiences.

As a Fee Administrator you will:

  • Build a working relationship with the home administrators to ensure that the required information is received using the correct documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all admissions, discharges, deaths and temporary absences.
  • Post and allocate the cash received into the homes bank
  • Ensure accurate invoices are produced and distributed
  • Agree the occupancy and fee rates with each home on weekly basis
  • Refund any personal allowances paid directly into the homes bank account
  • Investigate the weekly fee rate queries
  • Reconcile cash received
  • Follow up on any outstanding payments from the Local Authorities and work closely with the credit controller to ensure any aged debts are identified and being followed up.

To succeed you will be:

  • Experienced as working as a Fees Administrator
  • Able to communicate effectively and verbally in writing
  • Able to understand and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the role
  • Able to analyse problems and propose solutions
  • Able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Confident in delivering to deadlines
  • Customer focused.
