Regional Maintenance Person

We are recruiting a Regional Maintenance person.  As a Regional Maintenance person, you will positively promote excellent health and safety standards within and around the homes, supporting the Home Manager to maintain a safe environment for residents and colleagues.  Four Seasons Health Care Group is one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK, it’s important to us to couple great care with meaningful and enjoyable experiences.

This is a regional role covering our care homes in Reading, Basingstoke and Bracknell.

As a Regional Maintenance Operative, you will:

  • Be responsible for the installation or repair and maintenance of Company property and equipment and undertake planned maintenance of the home in partnership with the Home Manager
  • Advise, support and manage Home Maintenance personnel in conjunction with Home Manager and Property Manager
  • Carry out daily maintenance and repairs to damaged/faulty company property or equipment prioritizing own workload
  • Assemble and install new equipment or goods delivered to a home
  • Follow guidance issued by the Regional Property Manager and Home Manager to ensure call outs to contractors are minimised
  • Assist with the fire and water risk assessments and reviews
  • Induct new team members on Fire Safety and training including the use of evacuation matts and fire drills as required
  • Train Team Members in the safe and correct use of new equipment as required
  • Attend the home for emergency call outs out of hours as required
